The acceptance rate of Sheffield Hallam Uni is around 43%. This SHU acceptance rate suggests the admission process is somewhat competitive.
- Indian students who want to take admission to the UG courses of SHU, they must have completed Class 12 with 65% - 70%
- For admission to SHU PG courses, the students must have a Bachelor's degree with minimum 55% - 60% or higher
English language requirements have to be met too.

Theis include student support and career prospects, facilities and university halls, teaching quality and international student experience. Also, it has been awarded a Gold rating in TEF 2023.

Yes, students can change their programme at Sheffield Hallam Uni. To change a program, contact Student Support advisor or Course Leader for further guidance.
To be eligible for a change of course, students need to meet the entry requirement for the said course.
They may also have to clear an interview round. The course change is to be approved by the course leader of the current and the future program.
Note: Change of course may not be possible for all courses at SHU

Yes, several Sheffield Halam Uni (SHU) courses come with an optional placement or sandwich year that allow students to gain industry experience by working 9 to 12 months full-time in their respective industry.
Students need to take approval from the university before going for the placement/sandwich year. Tuition fee for UG courses during the placement year is capped at 20% of the standard annual programme fee.
