Hi dear,
COEP was established in 1854 and VJTI was established in 1887. Both are the oldest institutes in Asia. Both are government. Autonomous institutes. Course format and material are almost the same. Marginal difference is there in the syllabus. The campus of COEP is bigger and more advanced as compared to VJTI. More facilities and hostel available both for boys and girls. VJTI being in heart of Mumbai city, there is a shortage of hostel, which is being worked upon. In terms of infra, COEP is superior. Placement statistics are very much satisfactory in both colleges I. e. almost 100% in all the branches. It will always be suggested to opt for COEP and keep VJTI as a second option as suggested by me being a VJTIan myself. Suggested this through my personal experience.
