Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences (SVIMS) - Andhra Pradesh

Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences (SVIMS) is a Medical Institute under State Legislature Act and a specialty hospital located in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. It was established in 1993. At present, SVIMS Tirupati offers MBBS, B.Sc (Nursing), B.Sc (Medical), BPT along with Diploma programme at the UG level. At PG level, it offers MD, M.Sc (Nursing), M.Sc (Medical), MPT and PG Diploma courses in various specializations. Apart from UG and PG courses, SVIMS, Tirupati also offers Ph.D., PDF, DM and M.Ch courses.

MBBS admission is based on candidates’ performance in NEET UG conducted by CBSE followed by counselling.

For admission to B.Sc (Nursing), B.Sc (Medical), BPT and Diploma courses, the candidates will be called for counselling rounds on the basis of their marks in the qualifying examination.

Candidates with a valid score in NEET PG and NEET SS are eligible to apply for MD and DM/ M.Ch courses respectively.

SVIMS, Tirupati conducts a separate entrance test to provide admission in M.Sc (Nursing), M.Sc (Medical), MPT and PG Diploma courses.

Candidates have to qualify in Written Test and Interview to secure admission in Ph.D. programs. Admission to Post-Doctoral Fellowship (PDF) courses is merit-based followed by an interview.
