There is an entrance exam conducted by SRM through which you will get admission in MPT courses. Minimum 55% aggregate of marks or a CGPA of 5.5 in qualifying examination is required. The candidates must have also passed the Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) Degree or equivalent (4 years + 6 months of compulsory internship on or before 31st May of that academic year) from a UGC recognised University in India (on campus full time program).

To eligible for BPT you should have 50% in 12th standard along with that Candidates must have passed 10+2 examination by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Botany & Zoology with above mentioned marks. Candidates who studied abroad should possess equivalent qualification as determined by Association of Indian Universities with above mentioned marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Botany & Zoology are eligible.
