SRMJEEE

The total number of question in SRMJEEE will be 130. There will be 130 MCQs in the exam in total. Question will be asked from maths/biology, Physics Chemistry, aptitude and English . SRMJEEE used to be held as a computer based test. However, after the pandemic, SRMJEEE is being held as an online proctored test. The difference between the 2 is that CBT exams are not internet based tests. The candidates are needed to visit an exam centre and access the test on a computer which has exam questions already fed on it. In SRMJEEE online proctored test, candidates have to take the exam with the help of internet connection from the comfort of their homes on their own devices. The exam question will appear in real time on the screen an d the candidates have o answer those questions. The candidates will be monitored using AI and cameras throughout the test.

SRMJEEE is held in online proctored mode. This means candidates can take the exams from their homes and they do not have to visit any exam center for taking the exam. Proctored exams are timed exams that you take while proctoring software monitors your computer's desktop, webcam video and audio. In Proctored Online Exam, you will be under constant observation during the entire duration of the test via artificial intelligence tools and live monitoring by the proctors. Any suspected activity will lead to the immediate termination of exam. The AI tools will be able to detect any movement of face or eyeballs and highlight the same automatically. Thus, the candidate will be under constant vigilance of proctor through live feed to deter any suspicious activity of the candidate.

For SRMJEEE mock test students must ensure that they have a good working computer with minimum specifications as given below:

• Computer - Pentium IV/Dual Core, 1GB RAM or higher
• 80 GB HDD or higher
• 15 inch colour Monitor, Keyboard, Mouse
• Microsoft Windows 10 and Antivirus
• Webcam and microphone
• Internet connection of at least 1 MBPS
• A private room without external disturbance/noise
• Place the computer on a table, such that your back is facing the wall and there are no devices placed in the background
• The room where you sit should be quiet, with no background noise and only you should be present in the room, for the entire duration of the test.
• Keep your computer table, clear of any object, paper, books and any other electronic material like Mobile phones, tablets, laptops etc.
• Ensure proper lighting (no backlight) so that your face is clearly visible on the webcam.
