The total number of question in SRMJEEE will be 130. There will be 130 MCQs in the exam in total. Question will be asked from maths/biology, Physics Chemistry, aptitude and English . To facilitate students and familiarize them with the online exam, SRMIST conducts SRMJEEE Mock Tests. SRMJEEE is held as an online proctored test. Therefore candidates are advised to practice the mock tests. SRMJEEE used to be held as a computer based test. However, after the pandemic, SRMJEEE is being held as an online proctored test. The difference between the 2 is that CBT exams are not internet based tests. The candidates are needed to visit an exam centre and access the test on a computer which has exam questions already fed on it. In SRMJEEE online proctored test, candidates have to take the exam with the help of internet connection from the comfort of their homes on their own devices. The exam question will appear in real time on the screen an d the candidates have o answer those questions. The candidates will be monitored using AI and cameras throughout the test.

SRMJEEE is held in online proctored mode. This means candidates can take the exams from their homes and they do not have to visit any exam center for taking the exam. Proctored exams are timed exams that you take while proctoring software monitors your computer's desktop, webcam video and audio. In Proctored Online Exam, you will be under constant observation during the entire duration of the test via artificial intelligence tools and live monitoring by the proctors. Any suspected activity will lead to the immediate termination of exam. The AI tools will be able to detect any movement of face or eyeballs and highlight the same automatically. Thus, the candidate will be under constant vigilance of proctor through live feed to deter any suspicious activity of the candidate.
