Yes, the SSC CGL cutoff is released for each post group separately. There are various post groups in the SSC CGL exam. The Staff Selection Commission conducts the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) exam to recruit candidates for the following post groups.
- Group ‘B’ Gazetted
- Group ‘B’ Non-Gazetted
- Group ‘C’
There are various posts under each post group. The SSC CGL cutoff is released for each post group separately. The Commission also mention the number of candidates selected under each category and post.

Yes, candidates have to pay INR 50 per question as the fee for challenging the answer key. The Staff Selection Commission first releases a tentative SSC CGL answer key. In case any candidate is not satisfied with the answer to a question, she or he can challenge it in the prescribed format on the official website of the commission. However, to raise objections against one question, candidates have to pay Rs 50 as the fee in online mode.

You can download the SSC CGL answer key by using user ID, which is the exam roll number and password given on the admit card. Candidates cannot download the SSC GD answer key without their login credentials. The following login credentials are required to download the answer key:

The SSC CGL result is not prepared based on the tentative answer key. The result is declared based on the final answer key for the exam after considering valid objections and incorporating them into the final result.

- Log on to the official website of SSC – ssc.gov.in
- Click on the answer key notification link available on the Home page
- Click on the answer key link given in the notification
- Enter user ID and password
- Click on Login
- Go to the tab for raising objections

Yes, the commission releases the final SSC CGL answer key once it receives all the objections against the tentative answer key. Staff Selection Commission forms a review committee to consider the objections raised by the candidates. After considering the valid objections, this committee suggest the changes required in the answer key and marks to be awarded against the correct answer of such questions.
