Sorry to say, but you can't crack SSC without attempting maths section. The cut-off goes around 130 and if you leave the maths section. It means, you will have to obtain 130 marks out of 150. You should better focus on maths too.

Currently, I am doing my preparations from Mahendra's coaching. Till now, my experience with team Mahendra's is very good. Teachers are friendly, plus worksheets are provided to us after every lecture. Also, the fee is affordable.

The job profiles offered by SSC are more varied when compared to the banking sector. The nature of work in SSC CGL depends upon the service allotted. It could range from clerical, administrative, typing, and compiling reports, to carrying out raids, inspections, surveillance, etc.
On the other hand, the job profile in the banking sector is to enhance the business of the bank, implement government policies, manage clearance of payments, etc. Based on their interest, aspirants should decide between the two profiles but in my opinion banking is better option as it provides many facilities to its employees, salaries are also good.
