For the Aptitude part, it is suggested to follow RS Aggarwal quantitative aptitude, Arihant publications for logical and verbal reasoning and any books even school time BBC, would work great for English comprehensions. Along with it, it is mandatory to keep a track of daily news update. For general studies, you may go through basics of geography, history, polity and economics from NCERT books till class 10th along with yearbook. All the best.

According to my views and experience, BA with maths and economics is beneficial in SSC CGL as CGL has four parts and one part is totally based on it. Thank you and have a great future ahead.
