Yea, the University of Birmingham is a good possibility to study Computer Science, and it is regarded to be one of the better departments of Computer Science in the UK.

Why it's good:

Top positions: University of Birmingham has been known as one of the best institutions in the UK with respect to Computer Science. Its CS programme is ranked in the top 5-10 in UK, with a number of UK university guides (202526), representing it.

Good academic standing: The School of Computer Science is one of the oldest and most established in UK with a good reputation in both theoretical and applied computer science.

Accredited program: BSc/MSci CS degrees are accredited by the British Computer Society (BCS) and it provides good standards in curriculum and aids in gaining professional recognition.

Strength of research: Birmingham boasts of a good research in the fields of Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Machine Learning, Robotics and Computational Theory. This is advantageous to the students in the form of research exposure and updated curriculum.
