Only a valid and unexpired passport is officially accepted by administrators at the PTE exam centres. Some centres may accept government-issued ID like Aadhaar with photo/signature, but passport is often the safest option.

Yes, but cancellation policies do apply. Your eligibility for a refund depends on how early you apply for cancellation and accordingly, cancellation fees may/may not apply.

  • If you cancel when there are more than 14 days left for your PTE exam then you are eligible for a complete refund, i.e. INR 18,000.
  • If you cancel your exam when there are 14 or less days left to your test then, only 50% of your PTE exam fee will be refunded, i.e. INR 9,000.

Yes, the Gallagher International Center guides students through the process to secure off-campus housing. It is highly encouraged for students to work closely with the team at the Gallagher International Center to avoid signing leases that may not be suitable for international students. There is plenty of affordable housing within walking of campus but it is best to consult with the GIC first. Students should not sign any lease before their visa is secured. Students enjoy the outdoor pursuits available around Vermillion as well as nearby cities of Sioux Falls and Omaha.

Students seeking to live off-campus can do so, at the Pablo Fanque House located in the city centre at Norwich. To book a room at the Pablo Fanque House, one can apply via the Homes for Students portal on the official University of East Anglia website.

Yes, there are a number of induction and wellness programs available to international students at the University of East Anglia. However, it is worth noting, that these programs may be limited to a specific course.

The Student Information Zone (SIZ) offers a number of wellness programs and students can get in touch with them to know more about the same.

The University does not have any issues with students working part time, as long as they stay within the allowed limit of 20 hours per week.

When students work moderate hours, it's often seen as a valuable way to gain experience, build soft skills, and ease financial pressure, provided academics remain the student's priority.

As an international student, one can work upto 20 hours per week during studies. However, there is no limit on the number of hours international students can work during their semester breaks or vacations.

The UK has very strict rules when it comes to work hours for international students and therefore, students are advised not to exceed the work hour limit, as doing the same could lead to the revokation of the UK study visa and subsequently, deportation from the country.
