- Be a new, full-time registered student
- Not lived in Queen Mary residence before
- Accept the admission offer by the specific deadline

No, the University of Maryland does not rank among the top 20 unis in the US. As per the US World and News rankings 2026, this university ranks at #42.
Anda as per the global rankings too, UMD is ranked at #72 in the year 2025 which have been its case for two years now.
