The Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Surat was founded in 2017 in the public-private partnership model by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, and is an Institute of National Importance under the Act of Parliament 2017. Electronics and communication engineering as well as computer Science and engineering are being offered as B.Tech degrees by the institute.

Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology, Surata admission to ita flagship cousres bare based on the national-level entrance exams JEE Main and GATE. The institiutions only accepts the above-mentioned exams. Therefore, GUJCET is not applicable for the admission in NIT Surat. Candidates can find below lists of exams required for admission:

Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For JEE Main Round 6 cutoff 2023, the opening rank was 6593 and closing rank was 7741 for the general category candidates under All India quota. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 10559 and 12195.
