Hi Ragavendra,
Robotics is a branch of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, electronic engineering and computer science and the study of robotics deals with the design of robots, construction and application, use of computer systems for their control, sensory and information processing etc . Whereas CSE covers a variety of topics such as programming languages, software design and development and computer hardware etc. You have to choose what to do based on your interest and what you want to do.

Hello Shwetank,
No, it is not possible to even get a seat at VIT, Vellore or any of the campuses (except Bhopal) with this rank. You may be called for counselling but you can just book a seat under category 5 only.
So, it is impossible to get a seat.

Hello Divyanshu,
At BITS Pilani, you have provision to choose electives means that if you have got chemical or civil but you wanted mechanical then you can choose mechanical engineering as one of the electives. Similarly, you can choose 3-5 electives in engineering branches.
But in VIT, Vellore, there is no such provision. So, if you are interest in CSE alone, then go for VIT, Vellore CSE.
