You should rather go for IGNOU and please consider the latest recognition from UGC-DEB. Only a few universities are there to impart such courses now through distance mode of education.

No, not now. You have a lot of time, after doing Master's degree, you are eligible for the NET exam. So, you have a good amount of time left. But for now, just focus on BA (Hons) English.

It is not very appropriate, but you can go for that. Let me tell you something that if you don't have a Master's degree basically in Arts, Commerce and Science, you will not be given preference when it comes to the matter of job.

You may go for Master's degree and then clear UGC NET to become a lecturer or go for B.Ed then you are able to teach till class 8th in a government/ private school as an English subject teacher.

I think it's DU entrance because IGIPESS is affiliated by DU. And whole DU gave one eligibility criteria for each and every student. As per the cut-off or clearance of the entrance exam, you get admission in IGIPESS.
