Sorry to say but with a distance education degree, it will be quite tough for you to apply for any government job in a school because basic the eligibility for maximum posts demand regular degrees.

D.El.Ed course can be pursued by students who have passed 10+2 (any stream) from a recognized board. The course has been designed to improve the elementary level teacher workforce in India.
After completing 2 years long academic programme, D.El.Ed. professionals become eligible to work at elementary

Yes, you can do 2 degrees simultaneously but through different colleges.

Siddhi Vinayak Teacher Training College.
These colleges offer NTT and B.Ed courses.

The course fee is around Rs 50,000 pa to Rs 70,000 pa.
