I have done B.Com, M.Com and have completed B.Ed in English. Am I eligible for government job for English subject teacher?

You have completed your graduation and Masters in commerce. Definitely, you should have enough command in your subject. It will be more convenient to you to apply for commerce subjects. But, if you have enough confident in English, and you think that you can carry the subject, then you can apply for

You have to complete graduation to do B.Ed. I think, before polytechnic, you have completed 10+2. So, you are not eligible for B.Ed. But, you can do D.El.Ed, if you have 50% marks in 10+2.

Can I get admission for B.Ed course? I belong to OBC category. I don't have sufficient percentage in graduation and scored 52% marks in PG.

Yes, you are eligible to get admission for B.Ed, as you have 52% marks in PG. Minimum 50% marks either in graduation or Masters is sufficient. You belong to OBC category, so you will get some relaxation in your percentage.

D.Ted is Diploma and B.Ed is a Bachelor’s degree. As you have completed your graduation, you are advised to do B.Ed. with this, you can apply for TGT in future.

Minimum required percentage for B.Ed is 50% marks, either in graduation or masters. For reserved category, it is 45% marks.

Although you have completed your graduation, you will not be able to be a TGT until and unless you will not complete your B.Ed. First you have to complete your B.Ed, till then your Masters will complete and you will be eligible for both TGT and PGT.

If you want to be a PGT, as you have Master’s degree and B.Ed, you need not have to do Diploma. But, if you want to be an elementary level teaching, then you have to do it. You can do a 6 month bridge course also.
