Thapar University admission 2023 is open. Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology (TIET) or Thapar University (deemed-to-be) offers UG, PG, and doctorate programmes under multiple streams, such as Engineering, Science, Technology, and more. These programmes are offered in seven schools, 10 departments, and over nine centres. Thapar University admission process is both merit and entrance-based, depending upon the course. Moreover, this Deemed-to-be University is accredited with an “A+” Grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).

Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology provides various facilities to its students. The Wi-Fi campus houses a centrally air-conditioned library that remains open for 24 hours on all days. Apart from this, the institute offers separate hostels for boys and girls, labs, sports facilities, cafeteria, gym and auditorium.

Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology considers JEE Main scores as one of the factors for admission to its BTech programme. However, the institute also has certain eligibility criteria, including a minimum aggregate score of 60% in PCM Physics Chemistry Mathematics) in the qualifying examination. If you have less than 60% in PCM, it is unlikely that you will be eligible for admission to Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology. It is advisable to check the institutes eligibility criteria and admission process before applying.
