The college campus is big. Placements are good if you maintain good CGPA.

Placements: The number of students in my course is 250 which is 8-9% of total students in my college. The highest package for my college is 20 LPA, and the average salary is 8 LPA. Top recruiting company is JP Morgan. Almost 70% of students get internships in my course and from tech companies like Microsoft.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi and AC are available in every class in my college. Lab is well maintained with all components needed for projects and experiments. The hostels have a lot of choices like 4 seaters, 3 seaters, 2 seaters, and 1 seater for students to choose from. The mess food here is maintained by Sodexo which is a France company providing good and clean food. The medical facility here is good with an ambulance available 24X7. We have a sports event here once every year.

Faculty: Teaching is quite good with a maintained 75% attendance. My course includes both balanced electrical and computer courses which are asked during interviews and making the students ready for industry and jobs. The exams are quite hard with PYQs available on Thapar site for students to solve. Teachers are always available to help students regarding their doubts about their respective subjects except at night.

Other: I chose electrical and computer science because I wanted to pursue computer science. This is the best branch I was getting with my percentile in JEE. The events are very frequent and fun. Big events like SAT occur every year in which big singers and artists come to my college.

The college is good with good facilities. It is somewhat overpriced.

Placements: Around 70% of students got placed in our course and it provides internships on the basis of students CGPA. The highest salary package offered is 50 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 10 LPA. Top companies like Apple, Microsoft, and JP Morgan visit the college to hire students. Few percentage of students got internships because of the high cut of CGPA. Roles offered here are projects and CG. Students should focus on placements.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure here are too good. There are many hangout places everywhere. There is a cafeteria with good quality food. The hostel facilities are also good. Washrooms are well-maintained and clean. Many sports fests are held here.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified. They help us in everything. The course curriculum is a little bit difficult. Semester exams are not that difficult, and if we study carefully we can score the marks easily. The passing criteria is 35 marks out of 100 in every subject. Students must have 75% of attendance in all subjects.

Other: Everything is amazing. Good fests are held here. Events are very good and the concert is also being held. Extracurricular activities are held in which students are given a chance to participate in competitions according to their interests and capabilities.

The real review - Thapar University, Patiala.

Placements: I am from electrical and computer engineering branch at Thapar University, Patiala, and placements offered by my branch are really good. The highest salary package offered is 55 LPA. The average salary package offered is about 12 LPA. Mostly all students are offered internships in this course.

Infrastructure: Classrooms in this university are 90% air conditioned with proper ventilation and those which are not air conditioned are also well ventilated. Labs are very well maintained and Wi-Fi connection is very good working all over the campus. Every basic necessity is provided in each hostel which even includes games, medical facilities, etc.

Faculty: Teachers are very soft-spoken and helpful. Teachers are masters in their subjects and Ph.D. holders also. The course curriculum is truly very much relevant, and students are industry-ready after completing the course. Semester exams really challenge the student's potential but the one who truly studies easily gets good grades.

Other: I chose this course at Thapar University, Patiala because I always wanted to be an electrical engineer and by looking at today's world's needs. I also added computers to it also and therefore the course becomes electrical and computer engineering. This course does not need any improvement. Everything about this course for example the number of students and number of subjects is good. Events held at Thapar University, Patiala are a must-watch. Scholarships are provided to the students based on reservation like SC and ST categories based on CGPA. Extracurricular activities are promoted very highly with the help of societies.

One of the best private colleges in India and really worth it .

Placements: This year 5 students from our college got placed in Microsoft, and the placement percentage is near about 85, which is a good number, but still many students, especially of the branches like mechanical or chemical and mechatronics, need to struggle more for placement, and I have no idea why.

Infrastructure: Hostels are really well built, and the campus has amazing architecture. But the infrastructure is divided branch-wise, and some branches have really well managed classes and labs, while others have very old classrooms without ACs. Overall, the infrastructure and campus are very vibrant and positive.

Faculty: The faculty is not up to the mark, but the course curriculum is very relevant. Semester exams are not too difficult but are very unpredictable and tricky. Thapar needs to focus on better faculty because, at the end of the day, students have to study from YouTube or other sources, and classes are not helpful.

Other: Overall, there are many extracurricular activities and events keeping students engaged and happy.

Facility and infrastructure is awesome.

Placements: Course does not have first pass out yet Top roles offered are software development, consultancy, 2022 will be the first year when we will have pass outs in our course and after completion of my course, I can also pursue Masters and also earn government jobs.

Infrastructure: There are many facilities offered in my hostel, the warden is very helpful. The Wi-Fi is not that good. The name of our library is The Nava Nalanda Library which is one of the best library in Asia. There are special discussion rooms in the library.

Faculty: Teachers are good but at the end we have to study o our on. I have not given my semester exams yet but sessions exam wete very good. Online study is not liked by any student.

Other: I chose it because it was rhe best I could get.

It is the best private college in India.

Placements: Our course is new, and it was introduced in the previous year only, so there is no placement record as we are the first batch who will get placed in 2024. In my opinion, its placement rate will be the same as the branch electronics and computers is an old branch and have a great placement and internship rate.

Infrastructure: It has specialised and well-equipped chemistry, maths and computer labs. Classrooms are well-ventilated and air-conditioned. Wi-Fi facility is available all over the campus. The hostels are well-maintained, and the mess serves hygienic food. There is an all-day canteen. There are a number of departments, medical facilities, stationery shops, banks, etc., for daily use.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful and knowledgeable. They all have degrees from either IITs or NITs. The course curriculum is relevant as well as interesting, which makes us keen to study it. We are having sessional and MSTS exams before our final semester exams. All exams are of average difficulty level. The pass percentage is 33%.

Other: I have chosen this course because I have an interest in the electrical and computer branches.

College is quite nice, Good infrastructure and facilities. Education is also upto the mark.

Placements: I don't know much about placements, I am still in 2nd year. But I have heard that placement, here at TIET are quite good. The average package offered is 6-9 LPA. The highest package last year was around 44 LPA. Big companies like Amazon, JP morgan also come here for placements.

Infrastructure: TIET's infrastructure is quite good. You will seriously enjoy the campus life here. Hostels are well maintained and clean. Wi-Fi facility is available in campus. Library is also very big, you can study there peacefully. Sport activities are also there.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and supportive. Teaching quality is also very good, u have regular projects and submissions. My branch is electrical and computer, the course curriculum is quite nice. There are 50% subjects of electrical and 50 per cent of computers.

Thapar institute provides highly qualified professor.

Placements: Computer programming, electrical analysis roles are offered in this course also developing machine and software parts. I think top companies in which you get better placement is Microsoft I even dreamt of getting placed there but 7 CGPA is must. Highest package may be 25 Lacs I think .

Infrastructure: Morning and evening food is very nice but night food is something that is not healthy but food is clear and pure water is well filtered. Wi-Fi is available all the time, labs are well furnished sports and games equipment are provided well. There is nice canteen available.

Faculty: Highly qualified professor. This courses are beneficial in getting better placement. Semester exams are really tough but covered the complete syllabus and even helpful in revision. Pass percentage is 7 CGPA I think this is not very tough to get but internal knowledge matter more.
