Queensland University is one of the top universities for higher education in the Australia. International students must meet all the admission requirements at the university. International students must have a minimum GPA of 4 to enrol at the university. International students whose native language is not English must submit proof of English language requirement at the university.

Women in Engineering Program, formed in February 2013 in partnership with Rio Tinto and members of the Australian Power Institute (API) and the Australian Petroleum Production and Exploration Association (APPEA), is an initiative taken by the University of Queensland. The programme encourages women to pursue Engineering and build an impactful career for themselves. Currently, the programme is supported by 10 partners.
