Yes, students can transfer credits from their previous institution to Uni Queensland. This allows students to not repeat similar courses as past studies, and helps reduce the overall programme duration.
Students can apply for credit or exemptions up to 2 weeks before the semester begins. UQ Australia does not accept late applications for credit transfer.

Most applications at Uni Queensland are processed within 4 weeks. Students can check the status of their application via the Uni Queensland online portal or contact a Shiksha Study Abroad counsellor.

Students concerned about failing a course at UQ Australia should immediately:
- Speak with course coordiantor for advice
- Seek support from the UQ Student Services
- Check if you can Withdraw Without Penalty from your course
Students who fail the same course twice or fail multiple courses will be required to "Show Cause". They have to explain why they should not be excluded from their program.

Indian students need a minimum GPA of 4.5 on a 7.0 scale (60% to 65% or more) in their UG degrees to be eligible for Master's courses at Uni Queensland.
For UG courses, minimum 65% score in the Class 12th Board exam is required. Other requirements include English proficiency test scores, strong SAT or ACT score, personal statement, etc.

Yes, Indian students can get a full tuition refund only if they withdraw from their course before the official census date (usually the first few weeks of the semester) or if the university cancels the course.
After the census date, refunds are rarerly approved except in exceptional circumstances.

The Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF) fee for Indian students is AUD 373 (INR 25 K) at Queensland University. This fee is charged to support the non-academic services offered on-campus to Indian students.
The fee increases every year and for per-semester calculations, students are advised to refer the fee invoice on my.uq.edu.au.
