Yes, students can transfer credits from their previous institution to Uni Queensland. This allows students to not repeat similar courses as past studies, and helps reduce the overall programme duration.

Students can apply for credit or exemptions up to 2 weeks before the semester begins. UQ Australia does not accept late applications for credit transfer.

Uni Queensland assesses each application on a case-by-case basis. The time it may take to receive an admission decision may vary depending on the program.

Most applications at Uni Queensland are processed within 4 weeks. Students can check the status of their application via the Uni Queensland online portal or contact a Shiksha Study Abroad counsellor.

Students can review the course code, check Electronic Course Profile, and consult with past students to understand the programme difficulty at UQ Australia.

  • The course code indicates the difficulty level. A 1000-level code (e.g. PHYS1001) suggests introductory, while 3000-level (like PHYS3001) is advanced.
  • ECP lists the syllabus, required textbooks, and evaluation breakdown (exams vs project weightage)

Check University of Queensland student reviews to know more.

Yes, Indian students can get a full tuition refund only if they withdraw from their course before the official census date (usually the first few weeks of the semester) or if the university cancels the course.

After the census date, refunds are rarerly approved except in exceptional circumstances.
