* To pursue a B.Tech in marine engineering, a candidate must have cleared 10+2 or any equivalent examination from a recognized board or university under the science stream with compulsory subjects, i.e. physics, chemistry and maths.
* The minimum cut-off is 50% in most institutes.

You have asked a very interesting query. Normally, speaking Tolani Maritime Institute or any such private Institute does not offer any concession for fees to ex servicemen. However I don't think this is the end of the story. All these institutes are definitely looking for bright students who will enhance the prestige of these institutes and hence for seeking admission of such students these private colleges do offer scholarships for bright students. If you feel you are bright in your academics, then do approach the institute discreetly and I am sure they will offer you scholarship or may even reduce fees for you.
