The UCLA Bruins is known to be the athletic teams that have represented the University of California Los Angeles. The mens and women's teams have participated in the NCAA Division I as part of the big ten conference and the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation.

The Athletics at University of California Los Angeles has played a major role in the mission to have well-rounded education both in and out of the classroom. The first school to win the 100 National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), the university has ranked second in the US. The main indoor arena at the university is known as the Pauley Pavilion which has around 13,800 Basketball, Volleyball and Gymnastic events. NYU and UCLA are top universities for higher studies. NYU is a private university and UCLA is a state-funded school.
