Cal State University Long Beach and the University of California Los Angeles, both universities are considered top tier and very hard to get into.
Talking about prestige and rankings, UCLA ranks a lot better than the CUSLB. The University of California Los Angeles QS ranking is #49 for the year 2027 and for CUSLB, it is 1401+
If you are looking for high rankings, choose UCLA and for less competition, CUSLB may be the right choice.

It is very hard to get into UCLA because the acceptance rates lie at only 9%. Students should have an exceptional academic performance and should also be able to fulfill the entry requirements such as transcripts, LORs, Standard Tests and English Proficiency test scores to get into UCLA.
