In 2025, there were 1,800+ graduates at the University of Luxembourg. Around 72% of the Master and PhD graduates are employed in Luxembourg. Also, 86% of the Master graduates stay for a job in Luxembourg two years after graduation. The previous Master graduates of this university are employed in the sectors like Legal services, IT services, Education and Banking, Finance and Accounting.

Globally, the University of Luxembourg QS rankings is #381 in 2026. Last year, this university ranked at #355. As per the current year's rankings, the University of Luxembourg ranks among the Top 26% worldwide. In the 2026 QS rankings, Luxembourg Uni has improved its rankings for two parameters, Faculty-to-student ratio (#118), and Citations per faculty (#479).

No students are not guaranteed Luxembourg University accommodation because at the start of the academic year in the month of September or Summer semester, there is usually a high demand for student housing. Students should browse through alternatives provided by the university on their official website

Luxembourg University cares about the physical as well as the mental well being of its students. It provided confidential and free counselling. Moreover students can contact the Campus Safety and Security team of Uni.lu in case of an emergency

Uni.lu organizes various events, lectures and seminars at its campus for students. These include career events as well as leisure or ones for entertainment purposes. A few of these include Comic Exhibition, Ecoacoustic Exhibition, Friends Speed Dating, Math Day etc.

At the University of Luxembourg main campus students can find various dining places like Food House near the Maison du Savoir, Food Café on the first floor of the Maison du Savoir, Food Lab on the ground floor of the Maison des Sciences Humaines etc. Check the official university website for the operating hours

Yes, to get admitted to the University of Luxembourg as an Indian student, you would need all your academic documents to be issued in English, German or French

All the documents are given below -

  • Academic transcripts
  • Records 
  • An updated CV 

These would be required to be translated in these official languages. To get the application properly assessed, it is an important requirement.
