No, having work experience is not really needed to go for the University of Luxembourg courses under MS including Business, Finance and Engineering. For these programs, the curriculum is designed for the fresh grads from university.
However, if the student profile does have work experience, it may be valued and can give one a competitive edge over other applicants.
The students without professional experience may have to demonstrate strong academics.

Yes, Indian students do need to pay an administrative fee for registration at the University of Luxembourg. This process includes paying the required semester fee for the confirmation of their enrollment.
The cost of tuition is really less but this fee is the only mandatory payment for the final admissions.

As per Times Higher Education in 2026, the University of Luxembourg is ranked really well. It is ranked at #251.
If we see this rank, a drop of 50 positions can be observed. from #201 in 2024 and 2025, it seems that this institution is getting its ranking improved.
