Yes, Indian students do need to pay an administrative fee for registration at the University of Luxembourg. This process includes paying the required semester fee for the confirmation of their enrollment. 

The cost of tuition is really less but this fee is the only mandatory payment for the final admissions.

As per Times Higher Education in 2026, the University of Luxembourg is ranked really well. It is ranked at #251

If we see this rank, a drop of 50 positions can be observed. from #201 in 2024 and 2025, it seems that this institution is getting its ranking improved.

In the year 2025, the US World and News has ranked the University of Luxembourg at #473 in the Global Universities ranking category.

If we look at this trend, the University of Luxembourg rankings have improved over the last two years. In the year 2024, Luxembourg Univesity is ranked at #509.

University of Luxembourg welcomes students from all around the world for its Computer Science programs as IT and software programs at this University are very famous for its innovative researches, and state of the art learning infrastructure. The University of Luxembourg acceptance rate at stands at 8% which makes it clear that this school is quite selective in finding the best candidates for their Computer Science programs. University of Luxembourg is renowned for great curriculum, its Nobel laureates, and great research facilities.  The university has been graded A+ on Shiksha, and its Engineering programme is also graded the same. In 2025, there were 1,800+ graduates at the University of Luxembourg. Around 72% of the Master and PhD graduates are employed in Luxembourg. Also, 86% of the Master graduates stay for a job in Luxembourg two years after graduation. As per the current year's rankings, the University of Luxembourg ranks among the Top 26% worldwide. In the 2026 QS rankings, Luxembourg Uni has improved its rankings for two parameters, Faculty-to-student ratio (#118), and Citations per faculty (#479).

No students are not guaranteed Luxembourg University accommodation because at the start of the academic year in the month of September or Summer semester, there is usually a high demand for student housing.
