University of Michigan-Flint is internationally known for the following:

• The university allows students to join clubs or organizations and to participate in leadership development programs. The students can also take part in service opportunities and has access to support resources and services. 
• The University has the Division of Student Affairs that leads the student life at University of Michigan Flint.
• The division has 11 units that offers more than 90 student clubs and organizations, recreation and club sports, counseling and accessible services. 
• University of Michigan Flint offers the Success Mentorship Program that helps the students to set up for academic, social and career success and accessing the campus support services and resources. 

University of Michigan Flint has it's School of Management that offers a range of Business and Management courses to the students. The highlights of the Business courses are given as follows:

• The school focuses on helping students grow and succeed in the real business world and become responsible leaders and innovative strategists in the future.
• The school offers undergraduate, graduate and professional certificate courses in a range of disciplines of business and management which includes Accounting, Entrepreneurship, Finance, and Supply Chain.
• The School of Management prepares the students to focus on today's challenges and learn more through the team-based projects, lectures, assignments, case analysis and class discussions.
