Average Indian students can apply for admission at the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor, but competition is very tough. They must meet some academic requirements, like good entrance test marks and a high school Diploma equivalent to the US.
Also, international students in temporary visas are not eligible for financial aid and have to pay for the full tuition. Therefore, while it is possible for an average student to apply, an outstanding performance in studies on the part of the applicant for the same consideration is needed.
