The University of Michigan-Dearborn reports having a total of 635 international students on campus, 158 of whom are undergraduates. Students come from over 90 countries at the university.

As of Fall 2022, there were 870 international students on F-1 or J-1 visas studying at UM-Dearborn.

A score of 6.5 & Above is required for IELTS in University of Michigan-Dearborn for indian students for all the courses.

Some other minimum scores required to demonstrate English proficiency are as follows:
Undergraduate Programs:
A minimum score of 105 on the Duolingo English test.
Graduate Programs:
A minimum score of 84 on the Internet-Based TOEFL.
A minimum score of 220 on the CBT TOEFL Computer-Based Test.

1.  Official transcripts from all the college's applicant has attended 

2. Applicants must submit three LORs that have to speak about their past experience and performance for a successful completion of the MPH program.

3. A SOP must be submitted to SOPHAS and they must be typewritten of 500 words or less and include as follows:

There is no application fee for students if they apply through the university's official portal. However, if they opt to apply through the common application, then they must pay an amount of USD 50 (might vary; would suggest students to check before applying). For Postgraduate courses the application fee is USD55 however the application fee might be different depending on the course.

For undergraduates, the UM-Flint offers merit scholarships for international students based on their ACT or SAT scores and GPA. However, these test scores are not required for admission but are necessary for a scholarship.

However, UM-Flint offers graduate scholarships for newly admitted international students. UM-Flint offers scholarships for newly admitted international students with a minimum GPA of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale. These scholarships are worth 10,000 and will be awarded for up to two years.
