The University of Virgnia received almost 60,000 applications from prospective students, of which 9,900 were offered to enroll at the UVA campus. However, about 3,900 students decided to accept the admission offer by the university, suggesting that the UVA acceptance rate stands at 16.8%. This makes the admission criteria of the university extremely selective.

The University of Virginia acceptance rate for 2025 stands at 16.8%,  meaning that of every 100 applicants for UVA admissions, the university is likely to admit only about 16-17 students. This suggests that the admission criteria of the university are very selective, making entry into UVA rather difficult.

The UVA acceptance rate for international students on the other hand, is only 10.4%. This means that the competition for securing admission to UVA is even more intense amongst international students, with entry into UVA being really hard as the university is likely to accept only 10 applicants out of every 100.
