Yes it is mandatory to take GRE test to pursue MS degree form US, GRE scores are one of the important eligibility criteria to to get admission in American universities to pursue MS program.
However there are some universities in US which do not require GRE scores, but it is advisable not to pursue MS from those universities.
For admission in MS degree in US you need to have GRE score of 300 plus, however please remember the GRE score requirement may vary from university to university and from course to course.

- Four year of undergraduate degree (10+2+4) with good academic record preferably 60%-70% plus in graduation.
- Atleast 2-3 years of full time work experience after graduation.
- High score in GMAT.
- High scores in IELTS or TOEFL.
Preferred GMAT score- 600 plus.
Preferred TOEFL score of 90 plus with no band less than 20.

Please remember in order to pursue MBA from US you need to have 16 years of education i.e (10+2+4).
Besides 16 years if education you also need to have:
- Atleast 2-3 years of full time work experience after graduation.
- High score in GMAT
- High scores in IELTS or TOEFL.
Preferred GMAT score- 550 plus.
Preferred TOEFL score- 90 plus with no band less than 20.
Preferred IELTS score- 7 bands plus with no individual band below 6.5
For admission in MBA program in US you need to have atleast 60%-70% plus marks in graduation.
