They believe that one subject can easily help them get the cut-off scores, however, this is just poor time management and one subject alone can’t guarantee success. The solution to this problem is creating a balanced study schedule covering all the subjects. Dividing the time equally as per the difficulty level of the subject and the weightage. Some candidates don’t practice with trial papers, which eventually leads to poor time management skills as they are not aware of the questions asked in the exam, nor do they have the time management skills and question-solving abilities. Hence, it is advised to candidates to attempt full-length mock tests which will help them find their mistakes and focus on improving weak areas.

Relying Only on Theory and Ignoring Problem-Solving

This is the most common mistake that students make by memorizing concepts without practicing the MCQs, but this doesn’t will not guarantee success hence candidates are advised to study each topic and solve at least 50-100 MCQs from it and then move on to the next one. No, if the candidate prepares well in class 12, then the MAH BEd CET is not tough. They can also use reference books to clear the exam.

A:

Regional Institute of Education is a government college for educational courses. The RIEs can be found in Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar, Mysuru, Jhajjar, Shillong, and Ajmer.

Ignoring General Awareness & Current Affairs

Candidates often focus on teaching aptitude and reasoning, ignoring general awareness, but this is a mistake as GA is a scoring subject and to prepare for GA they must read newspapers daily and follow education-related news, monthly current affairs and revise important events about national and international importance.

Candidates must not overlook basic numerical concepts or make silly mistakes in calculations. They must revise basic arithmetic, percentages, and ratios. Improve calculation speed by practicing mental math questions and learning tricks to solve reasoning problems faster.

Not Reading Questions Properly in the Exam

Out of exam center pressure and nervousness, candidates skip reading the questions and in that pressure, they mark incorrect answers. Hence they are advised to read each question carefully before answering and candidates must not rush or prioritize accuracy over speed. They must not panic or feel anxious, which affects their concentration and performance. Stay calm before the exam by practicing deep breathing exercises to reduce stress. Get at least 7-8 hours of sleep a day prior to the exam.

Ignoring Exam-Day Essentials

Forgetting important documents like the admit card, ID proof, or stationery. Keep all necessary documents ready a day before. Reach the exam center at least 30 minutes early. Follow exam center guidelines to avoid last-minute stress.
