BHU B.Ed course is of two-year duration. It is available in different areas of specialisation, including Science, Languages, Mathematics, Special Education, etc. BHU B.Ed admission is now done based on CUET-PG scores. The University follows National Council of Technical Education (NCTE) guidelines for admission to B.Ed programme admission.

Candidates after selection in the course have to pay the admission fee amount. There are multiple components included in the fee structure for BHU courses, such as tuition fees, hostel fees, security deposit, etc. A few of these are one-time chargeable, while some have to be paid semester-wise. Banaras Hindu University cutoff 2025 has been released for admission to UG and PG courses. As per round 4 of the CUET UG BHU cut off 2025, the cutoff scores ranged between 94 and 628.46 for the B.Sc. (Hons) in Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology for the General category All India quota candidates. So, considering the BHU latest round cutoff, a cutoff score of 200 is sufficient to get a seat in some courses at BHU.

Admission to most of the BHU UG and PG courses is through CUET score. However, for some courses such as PhD, MFA, etc. the university has a separate admission criteria. Candidates must check the admission requirement for the preferred course before applying for admission.

Banaras Hindu University offers admission on the basis of both, merit and entrance scores. The eligibility differs for each course. Candidates who wish to apply to BHU Varanasi, must fulfil the course-specific eligibility.
As per BHU cutoff 2024 for the last-round seat allotment, the minimum rank stood at 1098 for the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) course for the General AI category candidates. Similarly, for the OBC category, the minimum rank stood at 1585 for the MBBS course.
BHU accepts CUET scores for admission to UG and PG courses. The admissions are over within few weeks of CUET counselling. CUET-PG is usually jeld in March whereas, CUET-UG takes place in May. Students must check the complete schedule for exact dates. CUET applications for the coming year will begin in February and continue till April.
