No, the TNEA cutoff for the BTech course has not been released yet. The students must keep themselves updated from official website. Once released, they can visit TNEA website, search the BTech course category. The tentative dates for release are usually in the months of June and July 2026.

The students can get regular updates for BTech course admissions at official website of TNEA. The exact dates will be released around May, 2026. The students who have completed their class 12th can apply for TNEA councelling process. They must meet the miniumum eligibility criteria for BTech course admissions.

The Bannari Amman Institute of Technology accepts the TNEA entrance examination results for admission to the BE/BTech courses. The BAIT CSE cutoff 2025 was released for various categories under the All India quota. Students can refer to the table below to know the category-wise last round cutoff for the same.

In General category under the AI quota, the TNEA 2025 cutoff ranks ranged between 372 and 131755 for BE admission covering multiple specialisations. So, considering the cutoff range, there are chances that candidates with a TNEA rank of 52000 can get admission at Annamalai University. However, the cutoff ranks ranged varied across diffrent rounds. Therefore, it is not compulsory that the students will get a seat in the first round and they might have to wait until the last round. BE admission at this university is based on valid JEE Main/ Class 12 score, follwed by TNEA counselling.

With a TNEA rank of 12,648 and a cutoff of 174 for Civil Engineering at Thiagarajar College of Engineering, your chances are very low.
The cutoff rank is much better (lower) than your rank.
You may not get Civil Engineering in this college through counselling.
Consider other branches or other colleges with higher cutoff ranks as backup options.

If you belong to the General AI quota, Kumaraguru College of Technology has the highest cutoff rank of 5605 for admission to the B.Tech in Artificial Intelligence & Data Science course. The lower the cutoff rank, the higher the competition, and vice versa. Other available colleges of Anna University for admission, with comparatively relaxed cutoff ranks of 6119 and 8426, were the Chennai Institute of Technology and Anna University - Coimbatore Regional Campus, respectively.
