Proper education to make one ready to face the corporate world along with proper discipline.
Placements: Since I am currently pursuing a part-time Diploma course for working executives, there are no placements available. I too graduated from Kristu Jayanti College with a BBA degree this year i.e. 2019. There were good placements offered to our students. Almost 80-90% of the students who had applied for the placements were placed. The highest salary in my knowledge would be of ICICI bank, they offered a package of 4.8L p. a.
Infrastructure: The college is drastically improving every year in a very positive way. The infrastructure is getting better (in terms of the new admin block). Good projectors are being used at every classrooms. The toilets are well maintained as well along with sufficient parking space for two and four wheeler to avoid traffic congestion. The library too contains huge collection of books of all studies, ranging from Science to tourism along with journals and magazines as well. The college doesn't have an official hostel yet but that's not a problem since many accommodations are provided within the campus range. Coming to cafeteria, there are various food selections offered to the students to fill their hunger. I would personally recommend 'dreamland corner' stall in the cafeteria as the food is good as well as cost-efficient. The college too has doctor facility, where any student can approach the chamber free of cost twice a week. The college has a football ground along with a basketball court besides. Atm facility within the campus is also provided and the campus is maintained quite well with trees and plants.
Faculty: Teachers are very much helpful and knowledgeable and if approached personally, they would clear the student's doubt. The H.O.D of our management course is one of the most humble and jolly person. The teachers are very understanding and yes, they too turn out to be strict at times as it is necessary to maintain proper order. Coming to the course curriculum, it is very much upto the point and not much of a burden. Clearing these subjects if one has properly attended the classes is easy and it also turns the students to be ready to face the corporate world. The college took us for an industrial visit as well to Hyderabad where we visited Coca Cola, Parle, a leather factory and a glass factory.
Other: To be truthful enough, after my 12th boards I didn't have much knowledge regarding the courses and since I was from the commerce background, I thought I could link up my knowledge with the BBA course. The best thing about my course would be that we learn a lot about the real working of the corporate world and also enjoy the college life. Only thing that needs improvement in my course would be that adding certain skills such as excel in terms of a subject of a particular semester should be made mandatory as most of the companies demand the employees to possess. Coming to campus life, a lot goes on in the campus. There are fests most of the time as all the departments are very active in hosting these fests also the students to co-ordinate well enough to make these fests a success. Scholarships too are given in terms of studies or sports excellence and also to financially unstable students.
