Candidates who fulfil the educational requirements as prescribed by the university become eligible for admission. For eligibility, the aspirant shall be a graduate with a valid BCA/BSc/BCom/BA degree and should have studied Mathematics as one of the subjects in Class 12 or at graduation. Candidates seeking admission to the MCA Lateral course, should have a degree in Science or applied Science (three-year) in computer applications/computer science/information technology or other computer-related areas.
The minimum eligibility criteria for BSc courses is that a candidate must have passed two-year PU exam conducted by the Karnataka PU Education Board or equivalent. For BSc in Design stream, candidates who have studied two years Job Oriented Courses conducted by the Board of Vocational Education of any state government or any other examination are also eligible.
