Really good eco-friendly atmosphere, infrastructure, and facilities.
Placements: Actually, I am graduate from Acharya Institute of Graduate Studies. In my batch, there were around 160 students. When coming to placements students were very disappointed. Only 20 to 30% of students were only placed through college placements. Average package offered was 3.6 LPA. Top recruiting companies for my course were Capgemini, TCS, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, etc. In my knowledge, none of them got internships in companies through college placement. Top roles offered were software developer, software engineer, business development representative, cloud engineer, etc.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure they offered were very nice. They provided unlimited Wi-Fi. The labs were fully occupied with computers and everything we needed for our practical session. Classrooms were smart. Library was so nice and a very charming place. I didn't stay in a hostel, I was in PG. Because hostel fees cost more than PG. Most of the students leave the hostel after 1 year. They supported sports and games well like football, cricket, volleyball, athletics with a different place for each.
Faculty: Teachers were okay, qualified, knowledgeable, and helpful but not much. Because they had to be a little friendly to students. The course curriculum was relevant. But I don't think I will make the students industry-ready. Because after this, they had only theoretical knowledge, not practical. The semester exams were quite easy. You just need 40% in each subject to pass.
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in tech. After this course, we will get a job in the IT sector. I wish they would provide more practical sessions, so that students will be well-equipped for industry requirements. The main thing about Acharya was the Habba. An event that celebrates around several days. The event was so nice. Apart from studies, Acharya was 10/106.
