Hi, To get admission in Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University for B.Sc in Agriculture, below are the steps: The candidates must have passed the two-year Intermediate examination conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, A.P. or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the university or Intermediate board with the following subjects namely: 1. Physical Sciences 2. Biological or Natural Sciences The students are admitted based on their performance at the state level Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) conducted by Department of Higher Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh.

BSc (Hons) Community Science	15% of the seats are unreserved. Who is eligible:  Candidates from Andhra University (AU)/ Sri Vankateshwar University (SVU) region Candidates from Osmania University region 85% of the seats are reserved for local candidates. Seats are allocated in 42:22 ratio between AU and SVU, respectively. Candidates need to submit scanned copy of their Local Status Certificate issued in Form-III by the concerned Tahsildar along with their application

**These are Category A seats of Affiliated Colleges. Admission to these seats would be based on rank obtained in AP EAPCET 2023 but with a separate fee structure.

The total seat intake for BSc courses at the university is 1,015. Moreover, there are 560 seats for the BSc (Hons) programme at its constituent colleges. Apart from this, there are 360 seats for BSc (Hons) in Agriculture at colleges affiliated to the university. This seat intake is further as per unofficial sources and hence is indicative.

 NOTE:

• If a candidate cancels their seat before the closure of admissions for the 2023-2024 academic year, they will be charged a processing fee of INR 4,020. The rest of the fees paid during admission will be refunded.
• If a candidate cancels their seat after the closure of admissions for the 2023-2024 academic year, they will not be refunded any fees paid. They will also be charged a seat cancellation fee of INR 4,020 for general candidates (INR 2,010 for SC/ST/PH candidates).

The following self-attested certificates/documents are required to be submitted along with the application form:

• A certified copy of the pass certificate cum memorandum of marks obtained by the candidates in the qualifying examination (Intermediate / 3 years Diploma in Home Science).
• A certified copy of the SSC certificate, showing the evidence of the date of birth.
• In case of the candidates belonging to Backward Classes, Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, the latest certified copy of the social status certificate.
• For candidates belonging to the EWS category, the latest EWS certificate issued by the competent authority.
• A rural area certificate. If the candidate comes from a rural area, they must produce a certificate of schooling in non-municipal areas for a minimum period of any four years from class 1 to class 12 (Form-II).
• Study certificates for class 6 to class 12.
• Proof of receipt towards application registration fee of INR 2000/- (for General) / INR 1000/- (for SC/ST/PH).

The application form must be submitted to:

• The Registrar, Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University, Administrative Office, Lam, Guntur - 522 034, A.P., on or before the given last date.

Postal delays will not be entertained.
