Adamas University scholarships are availble for meritorious students after meeting the minimum eligibility requirements. The University offers multiple scholarship schemes, including the Early Bird Scholarship, AUAT entrance-based scholarship, Marks/CGPA-based scholarships and scholarships to the Wards of Adamas University/RICE employees, among others. Types of Scholarships Offered by Adamas University

Different types of scholarships provided by Adamas University Kolkata are given below. Adamas University offers incentives of education to deserving students in the form of scholarships based on their CGPA or academic merit. Interested students can visit the official website of the university to apply for the scholarships. Details are below: 

1. Early Bird Scholarship

Early Bird Scholarship is valid for applicants taking admission during the period from December 2025 to 31 March 2026, with a maximum cap of 250 admissions. The maximum discount under this scheme is INR 15,000, which is disbursed in Semester 1 and Semester 3 of a programme. The semester-wise discount is INR 7,500. For BPharma & D Pharma courses, the maximum early bird scholarship discount is INR 10,000. 

2. Scholarship for students based on marks (equivalent CGPA) in the qualifying examination

This scholarship is awarded to students in UG and PG courses based on their performance in the qualifying exam. The scholarship is provided based on the first-semester fee and the student's CGPA. The maximum amount to be disbursed under this scholarship scheme is 50%. Detailed segregation based on UG and PG levels is given below:

3. Scholarship to the Wards of Adamas University/ RICE Employee 

Under this Adamas University Kolkata scholarship, up to 20%, limiting the scholarship amount to INR 25,000, will be provided to the first child. In case, the first child is already getting any merit scholarship, the benefit will be passed to the second child, if applicable/eligible. To be eligible for this scheme, an employee must have served at least 5 years for the University. 

4. Scholarship to the Siblings of Adamas University Students

Limited to INR 5,000 per semester and INR 40,000 for the complete course, this scholarship will be given to the sibling of a student who is already studying at Adamas University. This scheme is not valid for students already enrolled in the BPharm programme, and only one sibling will get the benefit. 

5. Scholarship for the Alumni of Adamas Educational Institutions

Alumni of Adamas Educational Institutions (Schools or University) are eligible to get a 50% scholarship, which is equally divided between the first and 3rd semester. The scholarship is adjusted in the semester fee at the time of admission. 

6. Scholarship for wards of Defence personnel

Up to 10% of the semester fee will be provided (limited to a maximum amount of INR 5,000 per semester for the complete duration of the course. This scholarship is only valid for the wards of Defence personnel In-Service/Retired)/Paramilitary Forces (In-Service/Retired) for all the undergraduate and postgraduate courses offered by the University. 

7. Scholarship for outstanding achievers in the sports category

Adamas University 100% scholarship is available on semester fee, including the admission fee as well, for outstanding students who perform well in sports. To avail of this scholarship scheme, applicants must present relevant documents as proof of participation. The scholarship will be provided in the first semester, and its continuation will be finalised by the Sports Committee under the Director-Sports of the University. 

8. Scholarship for wards of Sports achievers

Similarly, like the outstanding achievers scholarship, this is also a type of sports scholarship. Valid for the wards of sports achievers, 100% of the semester fee, including the admission fee, will be granted under this scheme. To avail of this scholarship scheme, the applicants need to present relevant documents of parents' proof of participation/performance in high-level sports competitions. The final decision will be taken by the Sports Committee of Adamas University. 

9. Merit Cum Means Scholarship

Adamas University merit-cum-means scholarship is valid for students whose total family income does not exceed INR 3.0 lakh per semester. These students can apply for a concession in tuition fee under the free studentship of the University scholarship scheme. The number is restricted to 5% for full free studentship and 10% for half free studentship for a course. This scholarship is provided based on the merit of students or the CGPA scored in the entry-level examination for the first semester. 

Eligibility Criteria for Adamas University Scholarships

For different types of scholarships, the eligibility requirements also vary. For exam-based merit scholarships, the eligibility requirement is a minimum percentile/score/rank or CGPA. Some scholarships are based on semester exams. For Adamas University merit scholarships, programme-wise scholarships will be distributed to deserving candidates based on their performance in each semester. Scholarship amount will be provided from the second semester till the last semester of the course. Under the merit scholarship, the top three toppers in a batch of 41 students and above will be provided the scholarship amounts of INR 25,000, INR 10,000, and INR 10,000. Some of the eligibility requirnment for the merit-based scholarship are given below: 

Eligibility: A minimum SGPA of 8.5 or above is required to be eligible for the scholarship.

• Upload/ attach all the required documents, mark sheet, income documents, etc.

Entrance exam rank-based scholarships for Adamas University 

The University accepts various national/state-level entrance exams for admitting students to its courses at the UG, PG, etc. levels.
