IIT Guwahati JEE Advanced 2025 cutoffs have been published for admission to various BTech programmes. In Round 6, JEE Advanced cutoffs for 2025 varied between the 792 and 2195 values. Notably, the BTech in CSE is highly competitive among General category students under the All India Quota, with a the lowest Round 6 cutoff rank of 792.

The cutoff marks of Guwahati University vary from course to course. The university has provided minimum qualifying cutoff marks for admission to a majority of courses offered by Guwahati University. Candidates must have at least 45 percent aggregate in their UG programme to become eligible for the PG programme. For the M.Tech programme, candidates must have secured at least 50 percent aggregate and for MEd and Integrated MSc-PhD, students just need a relevant UG degree to be eligible. 

NIT Silchar selects candidates based on their merit or entrance exam scores. Aspirants also need to score a minimum of 75% aggregate in Class 12 for UG courses. A minimum of 60% aggregate is required in graduation for PG courses. Candidates should also have a valid score in JEE Main, IIT JAM, GATE, etc. Hence, aspirants with 85% can get admission provided they also meet the selection requirements.

After JEE session 2 is completed, only those candidates who are aiming for IITs need to start preparing for JEE Advanced after clearing JEE Main. Those who are above the 98th percentile should start preparing for JEE Advanced as soon as possible. Those below this, between the 95th and 98th percentile, should focus on attempting more mock tests and previous year question papers so that they have a better chance of clearing JEE Advanced
