College faculty members and teaching methods are good. Teachers are friendly to everyone.
Placements: My college has tie-ups with many companies. They provide internship opportunities and they provide work opportunities at JP Morgan. They provide internships after every 2 semesters. Internships are compulsory. It has a great placement but the major factor is about students and skills they provide an opportunity to sit in big placement interview. The highest package is 56 LPA. Many students are placed with very good packages.
Infrastructure: Guwahati Commerce College is very interesting. Teaching and extracurricular activities offered by the college and other union bodies are very fun and all students loved it. The union bodies are also very helpful to everyone. College bathrooms need to be maintained.
Faculty: All faculty members are highly skilled and provide great support to students. They possess extensive knowledge of real-time projects and are always willing to help. Their guidance and expertise make a significant impact on students' learning experiences.

I like the teachers in this college.
Placements: There were Amazon, Flipkart, and Federal Bank placements at GU, and the department under the government took part. Students from the 3rd semester could join placements. A very low number of students got placements, and also most of them had different fields they wanted to explore.
Infrastructure: In our hostel room, we had a bed, one study table, one cupboard, one chair, etc. The review of the hostel food was 4 stars. Food was not taste and we did not have sufficient protein. The college will allot the room and give the room number. Outside our university, we had some private hostels.
Faculty: This curriculum included courses related to commerce and it prepared us for the real world which was quite well. Though it needed a lot of improvement which included internships. This course should include internships so that students can work in the real world and gain some practical knowledge. Exams were held 4 to 8 times a year and were quite difficult. Class size was 60.

I'm satisfied with the faculty.
Placements: The placement cell is mostly run by senior students and teachers. It is weak. Around 30-40% of students got placements in recent years. The average salary package offered is around 5 LPA - 6 LPA. There is no data for the highest package. Internship campaigns are also run by students.
Infrastructure: I like the infrastructure and facilities that they are providing. Buildings and structures are newly renovated. Wi-Fi is available all around the campus with good quality of speed. Average size classrooms and labs are there. Huge libraries, medical rooms, mess and canteen are provided.
Faculty: I like the most their course curriculum because it helps students with personality and overall skill development. I could say that it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are easy to pass and have a moderate level of difficulty. With a proper guidance of teachers, it is achievable.

Absolutely dissatisfied with the placement cell, good infrastructure, and other facilities.
Placements: Very few students are placed in my course. No one has been placed in the recent years. Recently, no company has come for campus recruitment. Internship is not provided by the course; students can take internships on their own. Top roles offered in our course are managerial.
Infrastructure: Free Wi-Fi is provided to students in both the classroom and library, and there is one computer lab. Hostels are also provided for the accommodation of the students. The quality of facilities in the hostels is very good; the quality of food provided in the canteen and hostel is average.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers are helpful. They are highly qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is also good. Yes, this course curriculum is relevant and makes the students industry-ready. The exams are not too difficult; they are of a moderate level.

Strong academics and decent placements.
Placements: Recruiting companies included Wipro, Tata Steel, HCI, etc. Courses offered were MBA, BBA, M.Com, and many more. Career counseling and support services were appreciated by the students. However, they did not offer this for BBA students, who could still participate on campus placements as it was one of the best colleges in the city.
Infrastructure: Hostel mess was run by students, so the food quality was very good. High-quality classrooms and computer labs were available, and I think it was the best college in terms of infrastructure, with adequate classrooms and a library. Campus was well-maintained and conducive to learning.
Faculty: The course offered was relevant and helped students develop various life skills as well as improve academically. The teaching staff of the college was very experienced in their respective fields, and they were very friendly with the students. However, the examination process was also very outdated as it hardly challenged the solving ability of the students.
Other: I have always been very interested in banking, finance, marketing, and management, and this course prepared students to work in those fields.

Yes you definitely need a gap certificate when you go to take admission in any college. You have to mention in that certificate about any other course or any other diploma you have done in that particular year. Gap year is basucally kept for the record purpose of the student.
