Ahmedabad University's placement cell offers career counselling and planning, and has career development workshops and interactions with industry leaders for its students. Ahmedabad University awards Merit Scholarship to UG students from second year onwards. The scholarship is offered to students with the highest score in each course based on their academic performance. A minium 3.5 CGPA is required.

Candidates must pass bachelor's degree with a minimum of 55% aggregate to apply for MS in Economics programme at Ahmedabad University. Aspirants must also have a score in CAT/ GATE/ JAM/ CUET-PG/ AMSOM Postgraduate Aptitude Test for admission. Selected candidates also have to pass PI round for final selection.
