No, candidates cannot take direct admission at AIIMS Nagpur. Candidates have to appear and qualify in the given exams:
- MBBS: NEET-UG exam
- Postgraduate (MD/MS): INI CET exam.
- B.Sc Nursing: Requires passing the AIIMS BSc Nursing exam.
AIIMS Nagpur accepts the NEET UG scores for admission to the MBBS course. As per the NEET UG cutoff 2025, the last round closing rank for the MBBS course was 1030 for the students belonging to the General AI category. For the OBC category students, the closing rank was 1377. Candidates can refer to the table below to check out the NEET UG last round cutoff ranks for different categories:

The answer will be both yes and no. Candidates can enrol at AIIMS Nagpur with out NEET for various courses such as BSc, MSc, MD etc. Admission to all these courses is either subject to an institute-specific entrance exam or INICET.
However, if the ultimate objective is to crack AIIMS New Delhi for MBBS, a student has to go through the NEET UG entrance exam followed by the counselling process. If the ranking and score obtained in the exam match with the minimum requirement of the institution, the student will get admission here for MBBS, otherwise not.
