GCE Gaya - Low fees, decent academics, average campus life.

Placements: In branches like Mechanical and EEE, 60 to 70 percent of students get placed, while in CSE, only 2 students get campus placement. The placement amount is about 2.5 to 3.5 LPA. Many students also choose to pursue further studies. Some choose the path of competitive exams.

Good for a degree, not for placements and infrastructure.

Placements: I am a B.Tech (CSE) student of the 3rd year at Sitamarhi Institute of Technology. The placement scenario in our college is quite weak and not very reliable. Only around 20-30% of students from our college were placed through campus placements. Most students had to look for off-campus placements or prepare for exams like GATE, ESE, PSUs, or other government jobs. The recruiting companies are mostly sales companies, and some of the students get placements in TCS, Infosys through off-campus.

The glimpse of Patna Medical College.

Placements: We are employed as interns in the hospital itself for 1 year and then we are open to jobs. Many students tend to do PG so they appear for exams and believe me, everyone is talented here and many succeeded with an India rank of double digits in recent years only.

Government Engineering College Bank.

Placements: Around 50-60% of students get placed. The average package is around 3-5 LPA, and the highest package reported is up to 10-12 LPA in some years. Seniors are well placed in Wipro, TCS, and many other well-renowned companies.

Infrastructure is good. It has 24x7 Wi-Fi, a hostel, and teachers with good behaviour.

Placements: Based on typical placement data for technical courses, approximately 70 percent of students get placed. The highest package offered is 7 LPA. The lowest package offered is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, and HCL hire students. Roles such as software developer, data analyst, and trainee engineer are offered here.

It is an average college with low placements and poor campus life.

Placements: Placements are quite average. The banners show that the package offered to students is 1.8 LPA by unheard-of companies' names, which reflects poor placement conditions. However, we can find 10 LPA banners from the civil engineering branch, but after 5 company switches. Students barely get placed, as we can find 1 per whole 1st year. Students get a good package in PSUs or 2-5 per 500 students from good companies.
