Engineering Diploma holders of other Institutes are not eligible to apply for AMU eight semesters B.Tech courses. However Diploma holders of other institutes can apply for eight semesters B.E. Courses in Civil, Electrical and Mechanical of AMU. Eligibility criteria : Diploma in engineering. In the relevant branch of study or an examination recognised by the University as its equivalent with 50% marks.

Not eligible for DU and its affiliated colleges because these required 10+2 with Mathematics or Business Mathematics. Can be eligible for GGSIPU Delhi and its affiliated colleges because these required 10+2 without Mathematics. The eligibility criteria of LPU Phagwara is also given below for an idea. Eligibility criteria of B.Com (H) of LPU : Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English) or equivalent. Hello Atharva, after completion of your Diploma in engineering you are definitely eligible for getting admission in a lateral mode directly into second year of engineering in any college in Maharashtra from where I suppose you did your Diploma. I am afraid I could not understand which college you are talking about when you said a m u. But it does not matter the procedure remains same every state has its own ruling about lateral mode of admission in Maharashtra it is the directorate of technical education which centrally conducts counselling for admission based on marks obtained in Diploma.
