Aligarh Muslim University offers an MBA (General), MBA in Hospital Administration, MBA in Islamic Banking & Finance and MBA in International Business at the postgraduate level for a duration of two years each. AMU admission to all these courses is completely entrance-based and depends' on candidates' performance in CAT or an online written test, conducted by the University.  Candidates seeking admission to any of the above-mentioned AMU MBA courses must have passed graduation in any discipline with a minimum aggregate of 50%. 

For undergraduate admission to courses, including BA (Hons), BVoc and BSc (Hons) through CUET-UG, candidates must have a valid CUET-UG score. For BA (Hons) admission, candidates must have to attempt the Domain/ General/ Languages sections of CUET while appearing for the entrance test along with the minimum eligibility criteria set by AMU. Final selection for most of the UG and PG courses via CUET is based on candidates' performance in the counselling round. Talking about the minimum eligibility requirement for AMU UG courses, candidates must have passed the Class 12 with a minimum aggregate of 50%. In order to take admission at AMU Aligarh, candidates must submit the application form online, and appear for the entrance exam for the respective courses. Based on the entrance test scores, AMU will release the merit list of selected students to appear for the counselling round (if applicable). Based on students' performance in the counselling process, the University will then release the final merit list for admission. Candidates whose names appear in the merit list are then requested to pay the admission fee to confirm their seats.

AMU conducts its own entrance test called Aligarh Muslim University Common Admission Test (AMU-CAT) for admission to the MBA course. The Admission Test shall be held at Aligarh, Kolkata & Kozhikode. Based on the marks secured by the candidates in the AMU-CAT entrance test, a merit list for admission will be drawn. Candidates whose names appear in the merit list released by the University are then required to appear for the Group Discussion & Personal Interview (GD & PI) round. 

AMU admission 2023 is ongoing for all undergraduate and postgraduate courses via CUET. Interested candidates need to visit the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA) to register for the CUET entrance exam. Meanwhile, AMU BTech admission is also open for the academic year 2023. The University accepts Aligarh Muslim University Engineering Entrance Examination (AMUEEE) for BTech admission. AMU BTech Firm List 3 is expected to release on Jul 26. AMU releases Firm Lists containing the names of provisionally selected candidates for the further process for AMU admission 2023 to UG, PG and Diploma courses on the official website. Aligarh Muslim University offers Bachelor in Unani Medicine and Surgery (BUMS) at the undergraduate level. The course duration of this course is five years, including a one-year compulsory rotatory internship. Candidates applying for BUMS at Aligarh Muslim University must have a valid NEET UG score for admission to this course. To be eligible for AMU BUMS admission, candidates must have a minimum age limit of 17 years as on 31st December in the year of admission. Apart from a valid NEET UG score, students are also required to meet the minimum eligibility criteria.
