It is offline counseling so you have to go AIIMS Bhubaneswar. On the day of counselling first you will mark your attendance and get your documents verified. Then they will make a rank sheet of whoever has come up for counselling.You will be then seated in an auditorium with vacancies displayed on the screen.One by one rank wise candidates will be called up on stage and there you'll pick up whatever you want from the pool of seats.You have to bring your original documents to the counseling or demand draft of something 1 Lacs rupee. So if you have joined somewhere you will have to resign and come with all the originals.If you pick up a seat in this round it is considered as ‘confirmed seat’, the Vacancy is then closed for that session and you are liable to pay the bond of some amount of money ( I don't the numbers exactly may be 3 Lacs ).

Generally 50 seats (UR) are left for open round counseling so if you getting rank under 2500 then you must go for open round, you might have good chance . Even from this year number of seats increased so closing rank may extend to 3000 to 3200 .

Even after open round if some seats are still left vacant then college do spot counseling which is the last chance to get admission, but don't depend on this .

A rank of 7K will not get you admission if you belong to the General AI category. This category had the MD in General Medicine first and last rounds cutoff at 58. The NeXT Exam is conducted in two separate segments knows as ‘Steps’ in the online mode. The NExT Step 1 is a theoretical examination consisting of six papers. NExT Step 2 is a Practical / Clinical and Viva Voce examination covering seven clinical subjects or disciplines. The qualifying cutoff marks in NExT Step 1 will be calculated as whole number which will be considered as a Raw Scores with appropriate decimals and subsequently corresponding Percentages. The minimum marks for passing in NeXT are 50% or half of the maximum possible Raw for NExT Step 1.

INI CET cut off is released along with the counselling result. Round-1 and round-2 cutoff for admission have been released for INI CET 2025 November exam. The cut off is the last rank of allotted candidate in that particular category and course. It must be noted candidates have to score the minimum cut off to qualify for the exam. The cut off differs for different category. INI CET qualifying cut off percentile for general category is 50 while the cut off for SC/ST category is 45th.
