AIIMS Patna accept NEET scores for the admission to MBBS course across different All India categories. The NEET UG cutoff 2024 for AIIMS Patna is released at 1476 for the General AI category. At this point of time, students with 1500 rank or more than 1476 won't be able to get admission at AIIMS Patna. However, they can wait till the next seat allotment cutoff to extend further. All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Patna is one of the top medical colleges in India. Admission to AIIMS Patna is granted based on the ranks candidates secure in the NEET exam. A score of 300 in NEET is not a bad score, but it may not be enough to secure admission to a government medical college. However, there are medical colleges that accept admission for 300-400 marks in NEET UG. AIIMS Deoghar is one of the AIIMS colleges that accept admission based on NEET UG scores. However, the admission process for AIIMS Deoghar is based on NEET UG scores, and the eligibility criteria require candidates to pass Class 12 with at least 50% aggregate in PCB stream. 

At the postgraduate level, the college offers MD,  MS,  MDS, MSc, and M.Ch courses to students. MSc is provided in Nursing. At the undergraduate level, the university offers MBBS and BSc courses to students. BSc is provided in Nursing with a seat intake of 75. The accepted seat intake for MBBS is 125. 

The Admission process of AIIMS Patna is:

1. One has to fill the form of NEET exam for MBBS and INI CET for MD, M.Ch etc. and gave the exam and get the good rank.
2. fill the counseling form which is conducted by Medical Council of India (MCI).
3. Then seat is alloted and pay the fee to secure the seat.

For MBBS one has to fill the form of NEET exam which has already occured for 2025 by NTA, And also get a very good rank, so that one has able to take admission. For taking admission in MD, DM, M.Ch etc. one has to qualifiy the INI CET exam and its forms were out in the month of March.

BSc students are placed in various reputed hospitals such as Narayana Health, Apollo Hospitals, Fortis Hospitals, Max Healthcare, and others. As a part of training, BSc students are posted in all speciality areas and several other community health centres. Some of them are even working with Patna AIIMS hospital. BSc students can work as Staff Nurses, or Supervisors, or can take up various job roles relevant to their field.
