I am satisfied with my experience at Amity University, Haryana.

Placements: Amity is a place of diversity, offering a number of courses, out of which biochemistry is one of the popular courses. An appreciable number of students from the course of biochemistry have been placed in MNCs, and a few are pursuing higher studies after clearing exams like JAM, NET or GATE. Students have also been admitted to universities across the world. Amity School of Applied Sciences has tie-ups with foreign universities in Indonesia and Taiwan, facilitating short-term student exchange programs. The salary package offered is 4-6 LPA. Being a part of Amity, I have been satisfied with the curriculum and facilities provided to the student body.

Infrastructure: Amity is situated in a valley, having an amazing natural environment for people to enjoy. They have invested in ICT-enabled classrooms equipped with projectors. Classrooms are designed such that students can enjoy learning with a natural view of the environment, sunlight, and if required, air-conditioning is also provided. The availability of about 15 state-of-the-art research and labs equipped with all the modern instruments for carrying out the experiments makes it easy to work on projects and thesis. The hostel has all the necessities for students' comfort after a tiring day at college. The hostel is divided into separate wings for girls and boys, providing both A/C and non-A/C rooms with mess services.

Faculty: The faculty members are well qualified and knowledgeable. Every faculty is helpful and takes care of students' career and are concerned with solving their problems. Being in Amity for Masters degree has been a great experience because of teachers' mentoring programme that provides every student a mentor who helps them in getting answers to queries of all kind related to career and course. M.Sc. biochemistry syllabus is well designed considering the need of both academia and industry. Summer internship and project programs are hugely important where the students get exposed to cutting-edge researches under the mentorship of faculty members. Recently, we have a fantastic central instrumentation research facility comprising high-end research instruments. Departmental laboratories are also well-equipped.

Other: The university offers a study-abroad program where students visit different countries and learn in the challenging environment, which enhances student's confidence and skills. Students can earn course credits while studying in a foreign university as a part of their semester. The school facilitates summer projects at reputed organisations. I have chosen this course because the course curriculum is relevant, and it makes the students industry-ready. Our university organises yearly events like Amifest, Sangathan and Innovation day. There are many student clubs to bring an element of fun in the process of learning. The campus crowd is very vibrant and healthy. People from more than 15 foreign countries also study here. Our college provides scholarships to meritorious students and a lot of extracurricular activities. All this is nestled in a small forest and Aravalli Hills.

I am highly satisfied with the college and the department.

Placements: Many students from our course got placed with the salary package ranges between 4.0-6.0 LPA in companies like Dabur India Ltd, Glaxo SmithKline Beecham, Lupin Lab Ltd and many other biological firms. Apart from this, many students also pursue higher studies after qualifying NET and GATE exams.

Infrastructure: The campus is built on a huge area, and it is surrounded by a greenery environment. It has spacious ICT-enabled and air-conditioned classrooms that offer the most favorable environment for dynamic and productive learning. Laboratories are well-equipped with the proper instruments and facilities to conduct any experiments safely. For learning, our college library is well-equipped with books, scientific journals and computer terminals. The hostel is good with an air-conditioned facility, and the food served in the mess is of great taste. Health services are open 24x7 in a medical space with two ambulances. Our college has a 20-acre athletic complex that provides us ample opportunities by offering a variety of excellent sports facilities for daily work-out, lifestyle maintenance, and engagement with games like cricket, football, basketball, lawn tennis, volleyball, and indoor games like chess, carrom, table tennis, snooker, etc.

Faculty: Teachers at our college are very friendly, skilled and experienced. They are all PhDs from IIT, IISc, AIIMS JNU, DU, CSIR and DAE Institutes. Most of them are NET and GATE qualified, and their teaching quality is amazing. They thoroughly explain everything with real-life experiences and also give us ample knowledge of the subjects.

Other: I am a biochemistry master's student at Amity University. Our department's faculty members are helpful and supportive in providing better knowledge of the course curriculum. In order to gain scientific exposure, laboratories are well-equipped with all the instruments to conduct experiments. The layout of the course is well-organised to give students overall progress. I am highly satisfied with the college and the department. Our university organises annual events such as Amifest, Sangathan and Innovation Day. There are several student clubs that add an aspect of enjoyment to the learning process. The crowd at the campus is very lively and safe. Our college offers scholarships to well-deserved students and a lot of extracurricular programs.

Placements: Placements and job opportunities are very good in our college as most of the students got placed during the college placement drive. Some students also got placed in foreign companies. Amity University conducts placement drives for all UG and PG courses. The university has an active training and placement cell, which is engaged in securing lucrative employment opportunities for deserving students. The CRC of AUH aims at providing a comprehensive array of services and supports for its students and alumni that assists them in their life-long career development and placements. However, many students opt for higher studies and pursue PhDs in institutes of national and international repute.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college plays a vital role in the development of our college as students are now focusing on labs, classrooms, etc., while selecting a college. Our university has the finest infrastructure with the most positive ambiance. The campus is very clean and pollution-free. Labs are well-equipped, and auditoriums are also well-maintained. To encourage the overall development of students, our college offers an Olympic-size running strike, basketball court, football ground and tennis courts among other facilities. Apart from outdoor sports, our college also provides indoor sports such as table tennis, billiards and a well-designed modern gym. Computer labs are in well-condition in major blocks.

Faculty: Faculty members are very interactive and approachable. All the faculty members are experienced and qualified with NET and GATE. They came up from esteemed educational institutes. Placements: Amity University Gurugram has a dedicated placement cell for all applied courses. Graduating from a good university like Amity University Gurugram, which is a pioneer among private universities, can definitely give more opportunities. The placement cell of the university has a strong network among leading firms which has resulted in good placements over the years. Many students also move for higher studies and qualified JRF, NET and GATE, and others pursue higher studies in foreign countries such as the USA, Germany, South Korea, etc., with full scholarships.

Infrastructure: The university is situated in Amity Education Valley near Gurugram, and it is spread across 110 acres of land. It has well-equipped and state-of-the-art labs for various fields in science such as biochemistry, forensics, etc. Classrooms are well air-conditioned and are enabled with projectors for comprehensive visual learning. The central library also has books, scientific journals and computer terminals with good Wi-Fi, and it is also air-conditioned. The hostel has more than 3,000 seats and multiple messes with good quality food. The campus also includes student-centric facilities such as a gym, multiple cafeterias and departmental stores. All the buses for transportation are air-conditioned and have great connectivity from Delhi and from various parts of Haryana, which are close to the campus. Also, a 24x7 medical facility is available with 2 ambulances. Faculty: Our teachers are well-qualified. All of them are PhDs and with highly qualified from various reputed institutes and universities such as IIT, DU, JNU, etc. Most of them are NET and GATE qualified. Their teaching quality is excellent with the student-centric syllabus. The syllabus of M.Sc biochemistry is extremely well-designed, considering the need for national-level exams and industry requirements. We do summer internships and research projects under faculty members' guidance in cutting-edge research fields. We have a newly built central instrumentation facility with high-end instruments.

Other: The university organises a yearly cultural event named Amifest and a sports festival named Sangathan. There are multiple clubs for motivating students in extracurricular activities, and a yearly innovation day is celebrated for showcasing the new research done by the university departments. It is also encouraging and exposing students to pioneering researchers in their fields. Our university also provides study abroad programs and students' exchange programs, which are dedicated to exposing students to the foreign world of research and building their confidence.

The facilities and placement in amity is quite good as compared to other private universities.

Placements: Placement was quite fine, students have an option of being on the class or going for placement. Those who opted for placement were allowed of attendance hike. Most of the placement were of in private business or some genuine labs with a salary ranging from 25k-35k, depending on their personal interview. I was not opting any placement that time as I was among sponsored students .

Infrastructure: Amity university have one of the best infrastructure among the universities in India. Wi-Fi facilities were provided on all buildings and all through the campus. Food was quite good and lots of varieties. The many activities of the university makes the university 'just wow' But being one of the most expensive university in India. Amity would't be the best choice for a normal class family. Expense is very high but the infrastructure is beyond comparison.

Faculty: As being a private university, everything is so different with government. Lecturer. The lecturer were very open, qualified, hardworking and fun loving. Every faculty were sincere with the job given to them. All the staffs are willing to help in times of our need.

Other: Extra curricular activities was one of the thing that makes the students liking the university. Military camp for a week was held for every students. Amity fest and dj night every months was the students eager for end of the month. Good connectivity. Very good Wi-Fi and good transportation. Campus has many good place for hangouts and scholarship were given to students securing above 80% marks.
