B.Tech. in Civil Engineering - Batch of 2026
4.0
Amity is a good university.
Placements: Placement is good; 80 percent of students are placed by the college. The highest package is about INR 22 LPA, and the lowest is INR 2 LPA. The average is around INR 4–5 LPA. Companies like Dell, Genpact, Accenture, Puma, Amazon, etc. recruited from here. The university has concluded its placement for the batch that passed out in 2023.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are excellent; faculty members are good, and they have well-equipped classes and labs for students. They also have a library for students. The hostel is also good. The cafeteria at Amity provides good food, and they organize many cultural activities on campus.
Faculty: Faculty are highly qualified and knowledgeable; they help to clear up any doubts related to your course. Attendance is marked on a daily basis, and you have to make your attendance 75 percent per semester so that you can give the examination. The pass percentage of exams is greater than 4 CGPA.

B.Tech. in Civil Engineering - Batch of 2020
4.6
The university provided good placements in 2020 and had nice infrastructure.
Placements: Amity University is the best for engineering courses. Most of our batchmates were passed and few were not able to clear. Top recruiting companies were Tata, Google, etc. I don't know about the highest and the lowest salary packages but mainly on average, it is 7 LPA - 10 LPA. About 50% of students got internships and others didn't. Some even can't believe that companies like Google hired them.
Infrastructure: There are separate hostels at our university for both girls and boys. The quality of the mess wasn't good but the canteen food was good. There was medical equipment in our college. Every year, we used to have sports competitions.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful in our college. Most of them were from IITs and had a great amount of knowledge. The teaching quality of most of the teachers was good. The course was curriculum relevant and made students industry-ready. The exams used to be hard for those who were not studying a single word but a person who usually studies can pass easily. The pass percentage used to be 50%.
Other: From my childhood, I aimed to become an engineer but the situation made me do it in a private college. Things to be improved in our college such as students not getting enough time for exams, most of the teachers being strict, and most of the equipment being broken.

B.Tech. in Civil Engineering - Batch of 2015
3.8
Average placement but high-class infrastructure .
Placements: I was the student of batch 2011-2015 of civil engineering programme and in final year approximately 40% students got placements in various organisations and the initial average package offered to all students was around 2.4-3.0 lacs INR and mainly students got internships from their own and students can pursue their degree from this College because of a skilled professional professors with Good infrastructure.
Infrastructure: Department of civil engineering has wonderful infrastructure with all well-equipped labs and classrooms along with skilled lab assistants who are always ready to give their support to all students. Hostel blocks are amazing and well planned constructed with all required facilities for the students.
Faculty: Course curriculum was according to the UGC guidelines but most important subject was behavior Science and foreign language. Teachers were knowledgeable and efficient to teach all of us. Students can become industry ready with the support of teachers.
Other: If you pay a higher fee to take an admission but it's guarantee you will get a wonderful infrastructure with all aspects. Campus is fully developed in 110 acre land with all sports facilities.

Satisfied with faculty. Infrastructure and facilities and placement is average.
Placements: 30% of students were placed from my course. The lowest package was 2.2 and highest package was 4.4. Companies are Tata Steel. L&T. DLF. and many more. 60% of the students got an internship. Roles offered are site engineer, project manager and work in building structure.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is designed in 110 acre almost A to Z facility available there. Wi-Fi, Labs, Classrooms, Library are in excellent condition. Mess quality is good. Dominos and CCD available in college. Canteen, medical facility and sports is excellent.
Faculty: Faculty is good as well as helpful and well qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is good and is up to the mark. The course curriculum is relevant and make students ready for industry. As well as in communication and interview purpose knowledge.

Amity is only a name not for study.
Placements: The placement is not good in the college. They are looting students by doing their placement in calling boo jobs. If I know this, I would never choose this college. None of the core companies came for the placement. Civil and mechanical are too bad in getting the placements. Some company for CSE and ECE came here, but the offering package was too low. After investing ten lacs in my engineering, I feel bad.
Infrastructure: A campus of 110 acres is only good in this college. The crowd is good with full of desi people. They only make their entry with big cars. The campus is well-equipped with Wi-Fi. The campus includes military, and dog training school too. Here, the minor degree is a course. So, you are getting worthless 5 degrees from our college.
Faculty: The faculty is the worst part of the college; no one knows their responsibilities and has very unprofessional behaviour. They are eager to debar the students for attendance. They can let you do anything for attendance, and even after attending classes, you need to beg for it. The faculty is not disciplined for attendance, and they cannot even manage online attendance but still do it.
Other: The college gives a worthless degree. They are looting the students with the campus size; it is more like a jail and less like a school place. If you are not a Haryanvi, you cannot survive here. The CCD is only the good place for the seat. The mess food is good, and there are two or three cafeterias.

No placements for civil at my time.
Placements: On-campus civil placement at my time was zero. For placement, we were sent to Amity Noida where the competition and numbers are higher. At my time, only 3-4 companies came from the core sector and as a result, the whole batch remained unplaced. CS/IT got 100% placement with an average package of 3 lacs yearly. If you are a CS/IT student then you can expect placement but not too high. Max. package is 5 lacs/annum.
Infrastructure: The institute is spread over 110 acres but not that big in terms of lab or infrastructure when compared to any government college. Rest, a full sports campus, good Wi-Fi, basic medical facilities and very disciplined supervisor. Most of them are ex-servicemen from army and air force.
Faculty: In terms of the course curriculum, it was the as same as any IITs or NITs. But in my whole four years, I never got all the teachers for all the subjects in case of civil engineering. Sometimes we were left untaught in many subjects. Only one teacher I found was very good. That teacher is Sakshi ma'am. The rest of them just used to teach but no one could understand what was taught.
Other: Sports meets and cultural programs were really good. The army training was also an exciting 7-day program in which everyone got a chance. Foreign students are very good. And one of my best friends (a classmate) was from Afghanistan.

A good but expensive college
Placements: The placement of my batchmates and seniors are in reputed companies like DLF, L&T, JCB, PWD, etc. Almost 80% got placed. The highest package goes up to 10 LPA and the average is 4.2 LPA. There are many companies that visited the campus like TCS, BPL, DLF, Infosys, etc.
Infrastructure: The campus is very nice and is built on 110 acres of land on the Delhi-Jaipur highway. One of the best things about this campus is that every batch has to undergo a 7-day military camp where you have to do some adventure sports, trekking and undergo such activities.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members are experienced & knowledgeable. They are supportive too. Inexperienced & not good qualified faculty members are very less. Teaching methods are good. Industry exposure is provided through the college. Faculty-student ratio is good.

Other: Amity itself is a brand. In the private sector, you can say Amity University is the best university. The college is a bit strict about its attendance and rules, but the crowd of the campus is excellent. Many faculty members are very friendly and helpful . I live in Delhi so for me it was quite far from my home. Even the hostel facilities are good and the security is excellent. Note: This university offers you to learn foreign languages, behavioral science, personality development and many promising trades also.
