B.Tech. in Civil Engineering - Batch of 2023
2.8
I think our college is costly, and it is not worth the money, especially for B.Tech in civil.
Placements: I am from B. Tech in a civil engineering course, and I have not yet attended placements. However, I came to know from our seniors that the placements are good here. I can give a rating of 3 stars out of 5 stars for placements. In our civil branch, there are no placements in core companies, while for other branches you can get good placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good and well maintained. Our college contains various buildings which look good and high-class. Our college is situated in a very good place outside the city and has more area. It is surrounded by mountains which makes it look great and has fresh air.
Faculty: For our civil branch, there are only 3 faculty members who teach the entire syllabus. Faculty members are not very cooperative and not willing to teach. They just give some tasks to do and are not interested in teaching. They just skip the lectures and don't do anything.

Our college is good, but the placements in the core branch are not good.
Placements: In our branch, i.e., civil engineering, a very few numbers of placements are provided as only one or two companies of our core branch visit our campus for placements. There are excellent placements for computer science engineering students. But there are good placements in non-core companies, and they offer a good salary package as compared to core companies.
Infrastructure: Labs in our college are good, and they have all the material for the practical. The faculty is also good. Classrooms are well furnished and are centrally air-conditioned. Wi-Fi facility is also good. Hostel facilities are good, and it includes laundry facilities, and its fee is included in the hostel fee. The college environment is very good.
Faculty: Faculty members here are very good, highly qualified, and helpful. They teach us in a very good way. The course curriculum is relevant and updated. It makes the students ready for industry. There are summer internships after 2nd year and 3rd year for almost 45 days each.
Other: Events like Oddessey, Sangathan, and many more are organised in our college, and they are good. The campus surrounding is good.

A good university because of extracurricular activities, faculty and infrastructure.

One of the best colleges in Jaipur to pursue the engineering course.
Placements: Placements for IT and CS departments were good, and all the major companies like Cognizant, Wipro, and TCS, etc., visited our campus for placements, and the package that was offered by these companies was around 3.5 to 4 LPA. Only a few companies visit our campus to hire the students of the civil engineering departments. Only a few companies visited the campus and hired only 10 students from the department. One of them was Ashiyana Construction, which selected 2 students from our batch, and the package offered was around 3.4 LPA. The placement scenario was the same for our seniors too. However, the college doesn't provide any internships; students have to find internships on their own.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is outstanding. We have world-class classrooms and labs. We have sports facilities to play all the major sports like cricket, football, volleyball, and basketball etc. Even indoor sports facilities are also available here. The quality of hostel rooms is also very good, and all the rooms come with a separate washroom. They also offer many food varieties, and we also have a CCD outlet on our campus.
Faculty: Our teachers are very good. Almost all of them have completed their PhDs. They have almost 10 years of teaching experience. The way of teaching is very different from other colleges, and teaching techniques also involve students' participation. The teacher to student ratio is not good because the number of students in every course is very high. We did get industry exposure through the industrial visit organised here, and our professors also helped us in gaining good exposure.

Absolutely satisfied with Amity University Jaipur.
Placements: I'm still studying in the college and it's my first year of the UG programme. But some of my seniors got pretty nice placement around the country varying from 4 LPA to 10 LPA in decent companies and organizations. According to them their experience was really nice with Amity and its placement. Some of them even got placed at more than 10 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is really good and well maintained. There are almost all the sports and their playgrounds available in the huge 150+ acres of green campus of amity university Jaipur. It also contains of a small lake, a little forest and an amphitheater besides the lake. The night life is also really beautiful.
Faculty: The faculty is well qualified and does a pretty good job of explaining the objective of the course. The faculty is really friendly and cooperative. They are always available for helping their students even when the college day is finished. As the faculty lives in the campus itself they are almost always available for help.

Amity University, Rajasthan is the best private university for the highly active person.
Placements: The placements are good if you're just a job seeker in any of the streams. Initially, all the CS/IT companies will come and try to deal with you. As if I was in the civil engineering student, hardly any company came up. But after 2016, I guess some Rajasthan construction companies might have landed their feet on the Amity University Rajasthan campus.
Infrastructure: On the first glance, it is mesmerising for anyone, who come from anywhere. The lush green fields. The campus is beautiful with the Wi-Fi facility and the other eye-teasing amenities. The beautiful mountains surround all the campus. If you talk about the cons, the only thing which I felt was there was a lot of walking. The classrooms are well-equipped with the good durable furniture. The auditorium is with the good projector and seats. The library has the sufficient amount of books. The laundry system is good for your sleeping clothes as they use too much bleach as it will be good. The hostel is the best part. You will get one roommate in a room and the other five flatmates. The sanitation was good. Every day, they clean the rooms, good geyser, and western washroom is available in the college.
Faculty: The faculty members were hard on the students in 1-2 years, but after that, they get easy on you. The course is good for the limited learning. The industrial experiences faculty members can only teach something new and don't expect from the assistant professors, unless and until you have a hardworking teacher. There are 2-3 times industrial visits in the Jaipur city. In a class, there are around 60 students, which is comparably less than the other institutes. The students are usually open-minded. The student to faculty ratio is 51:5 of the whole civil engineering. The teaching method is usually boarded with the projector, so therefore you get a good understanding of the subject.
Other: Amity is famous for its events like amity leadership fest, fashion shows, etc. The celebrities like Tiger Shroff, Honey Singh, are highly active in the campus for promotions. The campus crowd is good. All the people belong to the good family. The connectivity is the only drawback, and if you're using the public transport, you should have the good luck to find as fast as possible. As there is no government bus stop, all government buses charge is more or either the will drop you nearby. A person with a sports background has a high scope of nurturing his/her sport.

Living here is amazing but the placement is a problem for engineers.
Placements: Getting a core job in B.tech is nearly impossible for the civil branch. For the mechanical students, around 30% of the placements are provided. And there are 100% placements for every student who is eligible (6.0 CGPA or above) if you're open to marketing and sales jobs. Journalism, architecture and hospitality placements are quite good. The highest package offered in the last year-round 9.5 LPA. The average package offered was 2.5-3.0 LPA.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure wise the campus is filled with facilities. All kind of facilities are there for both education and entertainment. All kind of sports are available here, and we have a yearly competition held called Sangathan which is like Olympics of Amity. The infrastructure wise Amity is India's best college or at least one of best campus. The food is good, and you have a great variety of choice, and you don't pay a yearly fee for the mess. We have a daily token system so you'll have to pay only those days when you have to eat. We have food trucks, and Nescafe corners in the hostel opened till 11 pm in the night.
Faculty: The teachers are average. Every faculty member had done at least masters in that particular subject which he/she is going to teach. You can find some extraordinary faculty as well as some less than average faculty as well. But if you want to study you do have many options to cover up and do things inside. The faculty to student ratio would be around 1:20 nearly.
Other: We have two events, one is sports event called Sangathan held in September, and other is Amity league fest held in March. Both events are quite happening. The crowd is pretty awesome, and everyone is from a decent family, and things are very cool inside. Living here is like living in a different world which you gonna remember for whole life.

The college is absolutely beautiful and good for new students.
Placements: I scored 8.3 CGPA in my batch, and one of my friends scored top in my batch with 9.3 CGPA, and he got a placement. Many of my other friends and I who scored above 7 CGPA got placements, and the ratio is 8:2 in my batch. Some students who were not present in class did not get a placement.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities are quite good and impressive. The college is very good. The environment of the college is very great. The canteen is great, and the food quality is good and impressive. The hostel mess is very good. All staff members in the mess are very careful with hostel students and their work.
Faculty: Faculty members are good. They do everything that can help students get good marks, but it all depends on students and not teachers. They are the ones who teach us how to resolve problems, but if the student doesn't push it back to hard work, then they will never get good marks.
